Lions Hate Pigeons is a story about the two lion statues in Nottingham's market square. In the book the lions come alive at night once everyone has gone to sleep. The two lions go on an adventure through the city centre to find the pigeons who poo on them during the day.
Lions Hate Pigeons is the first self published book by Kate Wand. The book was entered into the Young Creative Awards Nottingham 2020 and was the winner of the Graphic Design category (age category 19-24).
