Cafe Neuro - Nottingham Castle
Cafe Neuro was a accompanying art work display to the 'STIM CINEMA' exhibition. This project was an open submission for neurodivergent creatives. Kate was award one of the two commissions for this project.

The inspiration behind Kate's piece is Nottingham city. The piece is an abstract map of the city centre. With each area represented by a pattern or texture that corresponds to something in that area of the city.
As an autistic woman, Kate was very pleased to find this opportunity aimed at neurodivergent artists. In recent years neuro divergency has had more representation in mainstream media. Exhibitions like STIM CINEMA help to reduce stigma that neurodivergent people can face.
